This page serves as the landing page for Esperantists accessing the online home for the Fulmo Talk Series. The website now hosted at TalkSeries.org — formerly known as fulmotalkseries.wordpress.com — offers a collection of thought-provoking talks that bring together voices from around the world as well as a comprehensive set of resources covering ideas from the area of Psychology, in particular, Happiness Studies and Positive Psychology. We were fortunate to secure the TalkSeries.org domain name itself earlier during 2025, perhaps a little reward for sending plenty of Gxoja (joy) into the world… or maybe just good luck — who knows?
What exactly does the Fulmo Talk Series offer? One, it offers a set of Talks created especially for college and university students. Each Talk is designed to share ideas that matter, spark meaningful conversations, and/or inspire action across cultures and disciplines. This page offers a few resources especially for Esperantists. It is meant to make this webpage accessible for Esperantists. If you don’t know Esperanto, simply skip over any content in Esperanto — all such content is clearly marked with ESP. Second, it offers a comprehensive set of low-cost and even zero-cost resources for people interested in learning more about how they can improve their own happiness levels. Third, it offers links to other websites and resources that people can share with members of their komunumo (trans. : “community”) to help their own komunumo as well.
The Fulmo Talk Series is presented by Fulmo Technologies. Technologies developed by Fulmo Technologies and the sister concern, Qwykr Technologies, have been brought to the attention of numerous researchers and academics, including even two Nobel Prize winners. Some technological components of our platforms have been accepted into prestigious incubation programs, including Microsoft for Startups, Google for Startups and the IGNITE program of the Wadhwani Foundation, established by the billionaire Mr. Romesh Wadhwani.

[ The Latest from the Esperanto and ConLang Society of South India ]
As part of our association with the Esperanto and ConLang Society of South India, we would like to feature a humorous talk by Mr. Anand Manikutty: Wendy Doniger vs. Anand Manikutty: The 10-Year Debate Saga (Spoiler: I Win). With a humorous title referencing the many years of their polite debate marked by their different debating styles, it offers a compelling critique of certain academic approaches to Hindu mythology, challenging dominant narratives shaped by scholars like Wendy Doniger. Anand Manikutty’s “Enmiksiĝo critique“, a brand new critique of mainstream American scholarship of Hinduism, highlights how certain interpretations—especially those using Freudian psychology to analyze sacred symbols—can unintentionally interfere with Hindu spiritual practices and well-being, and has the distinction of being the first critique that argues based on science and, therefore, an objective lens, and not merely from subjective, religious perspectives. Although you will find one of Wendy Doniger’s latest books prominently displayed in Indian bookstores, this Talk makes the case that such prominent positioning is not really deserved. The lives of humble, everyday people in India and around the world would be improved if the views expressed in Prof. Doniger’s book are challenged.
This talk — while not technically part of the Fulmo Talk Series — is currently in preparation. We’ve included it here because it has a distinctly humorous flavour. Delivering a genuinely funny talk is harder than it seems — it requires far more preparation and finesse. We also recommend Mr. Manikutty’s August 2025 talk for the IEEE Society and ACM Society, Chennai Chapter, for its humor. In an earlier talk to these groups, he challenged Mr. Narayana Murthy’s call for employees to work 70-hour weeks “to make India progress.” In this new talk, he ventures into another billionaire’s domain — that of Sundar Pichai — arguing that YouTube and similar social-media platforms are optimised not for your happiness, but for something quite different. In a future talk, he plans to take on yet another billionaire’s bailiwick. Such challenging of billionaires in this fashion is essential for the good of Indian society and for the good of the world at large. You see, billionaires are different from you and me. Because they have more money. In fact, more money than they really need.
In addition to Talks by thinkers and researchers, we were also fortunate to interview an eco-artist Mr. Vishwanath Mallabadi whose works can be used to engage in the Gxoja practice called savoring. So yes, we have some cool art stuff too as part of this Eco-Art Talk. When approached in the spirit it’s meant for, even seemingly “lifeless” art can bring more Gxoja into your life. The series as a whole brings together innovators, thinkers, and experts from many fields in a format designed for both depth and accessibility.
In addition to the Enmiksiĝo Talk and the Eco-Art Talk, we also feature a Talk by a lawyer Mr. Ayan Roy Chowdhury discussing disability rights in India, and a doctor Dr. Budhaditya Chakraborty discussing public health in India from a personal perspective. These Talks are meant to be both edifying and educational. Most importantly, this website aims to bring more Gxoja into people’s lives by highlighting ideas that have been scientifically validated and techniques that can be immediately implemented with, hopefully, very Gxoja results.
